McLaren Victorious

Apparently all you have to do, to make Formula 1 more exciting, is take Sebastian Vettel out of the race. After his retirement in the first lap, with a blown tire and damaged rear suspension, the field lit up with overtaking and some of the season’s best wheel to wheel racing. It all culminated in 2 McLaren podium finishes.

Some have been saying that Lewis Hamilton’s victory was handed to him. I think he had a flawless race and did a brilliant job, fending off Fernando Alonso and keeping pace. Lewis has a had a tumultuous year and it’s a well deserved win.

Then there’s JB, who pulled off yet another podium finish. Button spent the race with a broken KERS and still managed to take Mark Webber for third.

Lets hope McLaren can ride the wave of success into Brazil, for the season finale. More to come.
