Aside from production photos of the new STi and a return to the WRC, there’s not really much left for Subaru to give us.
They dropped another bomb today at the Tokyo Motor Show, where they unveiled their SuperGT BRZ. Just look at the thing!
I know I’m biased, but what an absolutely stunning race car.
Where most SuperGT cars bare little resemblance to their production counterparts, the BRZ has retained much of the street car’s styling characteristics.
The sticker says it all.
The car’s factory 4-cylinder boxer engine has been upgraded to compete in the GT300 class, replacing the Legacy B4.
Subaru’s departure from the WRC was a big disappointment, but it’s great to see they’re still participating in motorsports.
